Chemistry Expert – AI Content Specialist | Remote
Join the cutting edge of AI research as a Chemistry subject-matter expert working with a top AI lab’s GenAI team. Taskify seeks talented Chemist (M.S. or PhD) to bring deep domain expertise and help elevate the quality of AI training data. This remote, flexible role collaborates directly with AI research teams to shape the future of Chemistry AI.
What You’ll Do
- Guide research teams to close domain knowledge gaps and improve AI performance in Chemistry.
- Develop and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to Chemistry.
- Create detailed rubrics and evaluation frameworks to assess AI model reasoning across diverse Chemistry tasks.
- Design challenging, domain-relevant Chemistry problems and write accurate, well-structured solutions.
- Evaluate Chemistry tasks and solutions, providing clear, written feedback.
- Collaborate asynchronously with other Chemistry SMEs to ensure consistency and quality of training datasets.
Qualifications
- M.S. or PhD in Chemistry or a related field from a top university.
- At least 2+ years of professional experience, including familiarity with AI concepts is a plus.
- Expertise in organic, inorganic, physical, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, cheminformatics, or quantum chemistry valued.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Start immediately for a duration of 1–2 months.
- Commitment: ~20 hours/week, with potential extension to 40 hours/week.
- Remote and asynchronous, flexible working hours.
- Compensation: $65–$85 per hour, paid daily via Stripe Connect as an independent contractor.
