We are seeking to appoint a proven London based Operations Manager who will lead the operational performance and development of the trading teams, supporting the delivery of sustainable business growth through operational excellence, people leadership and continuous improvement. Working as part of the senior leadership team, the role will drive service quality, operational efficiency and customer outcomes, while supporting the evolution of systems, processes and ways of working that strengthen insurer confidence and support the wider strategic goals of the business. The successful candidate will identify, secure whilst managing new client relationships and support relevant renewals.
Main Accountabilities
- Monitor operational performance through MI and insight, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and customer experience.
- Lead the day‑to‑day operational performance of the trading teams, ensuring service standards, customer outcomes and business objectives are achieved.
- Support the development of a high‑performance culture through effective leadership, coaching and people development.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, service delivery and operational effectiveness through insight, feedback and continuous improvement activity.
- Ensure operational activities are delivered in line with FCA regulations, internal governance frameworks and company procedures.
- Support complaint management, operational risk mitigation and first‑line control activity.
- Work collaboratively with Product & Proposition, Underwriting and Group stakeholders to support strategic change initiatives and operational development.
- Support the optimisation and effective use of business systems and operational processes.
About you
We are looking for someone with extensive skills in Propositions, Products and Pricing. This is an exciting time for us at Jensten as we continue to grow and someone with the ability to work at pace and with accuracy is essential. You will be well read in the insurance industry having many years experience working in this field. You will be data and insight‑led, with excellent project & change management skills in this area to support the team. This role requires someone customer focused with excellent communication skills.
