Henry Seymour & Co (part of the Jensten Group) have an exciting opportunity to join our well-established team in Sutton as an Insurance Advisor. The Jensten Group are a growing company with circa 1000 employees, and Henry Seymour & Co is made up of a very friendly 20 + people. This opening excitingly sits within our successful and growing Digital Schemes division, where you will assist commercial customers on a range of policies including Tradesmen, Hair & Beauty and Business Professionals. Initially working full time in the office, hybrid working will be available on completion of training and probation period, giving you the option to work from home 2 days per week.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities
- Assessing customer’s needs, answering general enquiries and providing suitable advice
- Maximising renewal retention on allocated renewals and taking responsibility for replacing business where necessary to retain the client
- Completing amendments and cancellations as instructed, assisting with claims and resolving accounts and direct debit queries
- Providing a high level of customer service, treating the customers fairly and adhering to rules, codes of conduct and guidelines as issued by the firm and FCA
- Ensuring all administration and paperwork is undertaken in accordance with company procedures and timescales
About You
This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for customer service, looking to develop a career in insurance. Whether you already come from an insurance setting or other professional customer service backgrounds, we are keen to hear from you! You will also be or have:
- Strong customer service and communication skills – both written and verbally
- A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- A sincere interest in developing a career within the insurance/broking sector
- A desire to work towards CII Qualifications (ideally)
- Work experience in a professional Office environment (advantageous but not essential)
