The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The role involves working closely with existing clients and Account Executives, helping to renew and offer assistance, as well as maximising opportunities to increase the book of business. The customers are long-standing clients who have a strong relationship with us, primarily in Commercial General Insurance for SMEs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Offering and presenting insurance solutions, including policies and other risk management solutions, to secure renewal and/or new business.
  • Assisting in team performance through regular communication with colleagues and management to raise concerns and provide solutions.
  • Identifying and pursuing cross-selling, up-selling, and similar opportunities; utilising all leads provided by the company and developing new ways to increase quote volume.
  • Achieving or exceeding the agreed volume of quotes/sales/income generated from all marketing sources, including personal prospecting activity.
  • Understanding clients' business operations, opportunities, risks, and their approach to risk management and insurance.
  • Ensuring compliance with local procedures, customer service standards, and external compliance regulations, e.g., FCA.

About you:

  • Excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • A desire for constant development with opportunities for career progression, training, and development within the role and the Insurance Industry.
  • Good general insurance background and knowledge, especially in Commercial Insurance.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) or working towards them.
  • Great customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner; able to network and build working relationships easily.
  • Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance.
  • Experience in a similar role, working with insurers and clients.
  • Able to use initiative and multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin.
  • Knowledge and experience of Acturis systems (ideally).
