At Jensten Motor Trade, we’re looking for a Commercial Account Handler to provide exceptional service to our clients, support business growth, and help oversee the account handler team. As one of the top providers of specialist, exclusive, and cost-effective insurance products, we are focused on delivering outstanding service to our clients. You’ll work directly with our team in Bexleyheath (with the opportunity for hybrid working once training is complete).
Key Objectives & Responsibilities- Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal.
- Assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.
- Achieve or exceed agreed income retention and policy count set targets.
- Understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
- Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA.
As one of our Account Handlers, you’ll have good communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail. You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. You will also be or have:
- Commercial Insurance experience is essential – ideally within Motor Trade.
- Strong technical knowledge with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to client servicing and business growth.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team and support junior colleagues.
- Experience with broking systems and diary management.
