We’re looking for an organised and proactive HR Operations Specialist to join our growing People team on a 6-month fixed‑term contract. This is a busy and varied role, perfect for someone looking to oversee a busy HR Operations team within a fast‑paced and growing business. You’ll play a key role in overseeing the HR administration team and wider People activities, working closely with Payroll, Learning & Development, People Analytics and Benefits. You will be proactive, solutions orientated and work at pace with varied responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support for the HR administrative team
- Managing HR processes to ensure HR ticketing queries are answered and escalating accordingly
- Ensure the HR Operations team works in a timely and accurate way for employee data updates
- Working alongside our Payroll Manager to support the data accuracy and employee changes they need
- Oversee the employee benefits processes and that the team respond to employee queries
- Ensure the team maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Act as a first point of contact for HR escalations, delivering a high‑quality employee experience
About You
- Previous experience in a HR Operations Specialist role
- Previous experience managing a HR administration team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Previous experience working with systems and data (HRIS experience essential)
- HiBob experience highly desirable
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop within HR
