This is a remote role with the expectation of regular travel to our London office and other Jensten locations across the UK when required, ensuring strong collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders and broker partners.
As our Head of Broker Distribution, you will shape, lead and deliver the distribution and sales strategy for Jensten Products across our UK broker partner channel. You’ll be accountable for achieving growth, retention and profitability targets across our product sets, while ensuring brokers receive top quartile service and support.
This is a highly visible, strategic position—working closely with senior leadership, underwriting, product, marketing and data teams to influence proposition development and strengthen our broker relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Set and deliver the sales and distribution strategy for Jensten Products, focusing on new business, penetration, new product launches, retention and rate to meet GWP, income and EBITDA targets.
- Develop and continually refine a clear, segmented broker proposition that supports business unit trading plans and the wider broker lifecycle strategy.
- Lead, develop and support the distribution team, promoting learning, performance and a collaborative, high impact culture.
- Work closely with product producing teams to shape campaigns and trading activity that drive growth and profitability.
- Use Salesforce and other insights to ensure strong broker service, high‑performing sales activity and effective marketing execution.
- Build a detailed understanding of our brokers, products and market trends to influence product development and identify new opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing to deliver regular, relevant campaigns and materials that grow engagement, strengthen our brands and support budget delivery.
- Support underwriting profitability by educating brokers on target business, managing poor quality performance and maximising opportunities with profitable brokers.
- Champion top quartile broker service by measuring NPS and feedback, driving ongoing improvements with stakeholders across the business.
- Work across the Jensten Group to share best practice, build strong relationships and drive consistency in underwriting, product development and distribution.

You’ll be or have:
- Deep experience in broker distribution, business development or commercial leadership within the insurance market.
- A proven track record of delivering growth, profitability and strategic outcomes.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, propositions, pricing and underwriting principles.
- Expert relationship building skills—credible, collaborative, and able to influence at senior levels.
- A detailed approach, able to interpret insights and apply them to commercial decisions.
- Inspirational leadership qualities with the ability to build, coach and empower a high-performing team.
