This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative office of 40+ specialists, where your knowledge and skills will help clients secure the right home insurance cover—both standard and non-standard.
As someone with insurance experience, you’ll hit the ground running, building on your existing expertise while benefiting from ongoing training and support. You’ll deepen your understanding of our household products, refine your advisory skills, and play a key role in guiding clients through their insurance needs. From day one, you’ll be part of a team that values professionalism, growth, and a positive working environment. Initially, you’ll work full-time in the office, with the option for hybrid working after probation.
Key Responsibilities- Check new policy documentation for accuracy and issue to clients or liaise with insurers.
- Negotiate and invite renewal of allocated client policies.
- Ensure client records accurately reflect current cover, including sums insured, perils, excesses, extensions, and exclusions.
- Process mid-term adjustments promptly and accurately.
- Respond to client enquiries, managing expectations effectively.
- Maintain an effective diary system.
- Liaise with the Claims department regarding queries and reports.
- Previous insurance experience, ideally within personal lines or household products.
- Excellent communication skills and proactive approach to client service.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- A genuine interest in developing your career within insurance broking.
- Desire to work towards CII qualifications (not essential but encouraged).
