The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The role involves working within our New Business team to generate new business, focusing on Commercial General Insurance (i.e. Liabilities & Properties) and creating long-standing client relationships through excellent customer service.
Some key responsibilities will include:
- Handling new business enquiries by taking information from customers and obtaining quotations from insurers
- Putting forward new business tenders to customers and chasing for instructions
- Developing and sustaining relationships with customers
- Demonstrating confident and efficient telephone skills
- Effectively analysing client needs and developing solutions
- Making outgoing telephone calls/visits to existing and prospective customers
- Ensuring adherence to the company compliance, systems and procedures at all times
- Responding promptly to client queries and ensuring that all communications with customers and/or insurers or other business contacts are accurately recorded (in writing)
About you: You will have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail. The role would suit an individual with a Commercial Insurance sales background and a genuine passion for New Business generation. You will also be or have:
- Commercial Insurance industry background (essential)
- Experience of generating new business
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Excellent face-to-face & telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales
- Worked in a similar role previously
- Good attention to detail and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin (ideally with Acturis knowledge)
