At Jensten Underwriting in Huntingdon, we’re looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our inclusive and friendly Property E-Trading team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a supportive environment where learning and progression are encouraged.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting Brokers with new business enquiries
  • Ensuring accurate documentation is provided for each quotation
  • Processing mid-term adjustments and cancellations, ensuring correct premiums
  • Inviting renewals on the best available terms
  • Updating claims records for Property Owners’ policies
  • Embodying our company values in everything you do

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in the insurance industry
  • Ideally, experience handling home or property owners’ insurance
  • Competent Microsoft Office skills
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset
  • Knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and procedures (or a willingness to learn)
