The role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Account Handler to join Simpson & Parsons, part of the Jensten Group. Established in 1983 in the English Lake District, we are known for reliable, high-quality service provided by knowledgeable advisors in Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and be based at our Windermere office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Offering and presenting insurance solutions, including policies and risk management options, to secure renewals and new business.
- Assisting team performance through regular communication with colleagues and managers, raising concerns, and providing solutions.
- Identifying and pursuing cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, utilizing company leads, and developing new ways to increase quote volume.
- Achieving or exceeding targets for quotes, sales, and income from all marketing sources, including personal prospecting.
- Understanding clients’ business operations, opportunities, risks, and their approach to risk management and insurance.
- Ensuring compliance with local procedures, customer service standards, and external regulations such as FCA.

- Knowledge of Acturis systems (desirable)
