LINE MANAGER: Shift Manager
Duties And Responsibilities
Lead production personnel to achieve optimum results.
Working within a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum efficiency is achieved from the work force.
Using your organisational skills, you will be responsible for planning work for the team and ensuring instructions and expectations are delivered clearly and concisely.
Maintain product quality by establishing and enforcing company standards
Oversee an effective and well communicated shift handover, ensuring accurate information is communicated to the necessary functions to allow timely support.
Ensure the shift operatives are compliant with the Company procedures and policies
Promote a safety culture within the team and across the business. Ensure that the PPE is always worn.
Collaborate with other departments
Maintain work areas in accordance with manufacturing standards of hygiene
Knowledge And Skills Required
Excellent communication skills
Confidence in approach with the ability to challenge
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of work
Computer literate
Have good organizational and prioritizing skills to work to the required timescales.
Understand the importance of Health and Safety and Hygiene.
Willingness to undergo training as and when required to increase their skills level.
