Utilising the equipment, ensuring the machines are functioning well and training others on how to safely use the machines

: Production LINE MANAGER
: Shift Supervisor DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for performing set up, Operate, Monitor and perform changeovers on assigned machines.
Ensure the machines are fed with the right materials and are of good quality and quantity.
Ensure that machines are running at the correct speed/settings.
Ensure that equipment is generating minimum waste/give away Maximise the re-use of rework during own shift Carry out cleaning, inspections, lubrication on assigned machines.
Change over of the machines when a product change is required Support engineers on the breakdown.
Train new team members in how to operate the machines following safety, quality and operational standards.
Cover breaks on
assigned machines.
Fill in production, quality and cleaning records.
Escalate issues to supervisor.
Perform good communication when handing over the shift.
Report any damage and safety issues on the machines to the Production Supervisor.
To perform any other tasks assigned by the Production Supervisor or any Senior Manager within their set skills KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
: Excellent communication skills Confidence in approach with the ability to challenge Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of work Computer literate Have good organizational and prioritizing skills to work to the required timescales.
Understand the importance of Health and Safety and Hygiene Willingness to undergo training as and when required to increase their skills level.
