JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for UK PCB manufacturing while driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention and market expansion. The role holder will expand market presence, secure profitable new business opportunities, develop long-term customer partnerships, and contribute significantly to company growth. Salary £60,000-70,000 DOE + commission + car
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and secure new PCB manufacturing customers.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective customers.
- Meet and exceed ambitious new business targets.
- Help develop and execute business development strategies.
- Develop strong relationships and collaborate to negotiate and close commercial agreements with key decision-makers.
- Support quotations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Deliver a seamless customer onboarding experience to maximise long-term retention.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive exceptional service.
- Develop territory plans using market insight and sales data.
- Generate Sales-related reports and returns as required.
Key Performance Indicators:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years in business development, technical sales, or account management preferably within electronics, PCB, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven track record of revenue growth.
- A proven track record of winning new business.
- Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales pipeline management tools.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both engineering and commercial stakeholders.
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills.

- Equivalent experience gained through a successful career in PCB, electronics, technical sales, or manufacturing business development will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
