Your tasks
- Oversee and manage metadata process while liaising with all relevant departments
- Using the business’s internal title management system and CMS, ensure that titles are set up correctly, with complete and timely metadata
- Create and enforce metadata best practices, working with retailers to ensure metadata is complete and accurate, and drive metadata improvement projects across the business
- Build relationships with data aggregators, wholesalers, libraries, etc. to ensure metadata meet their requirements
- Act as the point of contact for all internal and external bibliographic data queries and ensure company is up-to-date with bibliographic standards
- Troubleshoot external issues and ensure that Amazon and other key retailer sites reflect our internal data and resolve any data issues with third parties promptly and effectively
- Customize product feeds to other online channels such as Google, Facebook, Criteo, etc.
- Perform regular quality checks for all localized product feeds
Your profile
- Strong experience with publishing metadata and ONIX
- Ability to analyse and provide detailed feedback
- Excellent communication and organization skills to meet deadlines
- Proven experience of identifying areas for improvement and creating and implementing new processes
- English fluency required, additional languages a plus
