Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee brand consistency and audience growth across platforms and regions.
- Develop and implement content strategy in consultation with the CCO.
- Plan editorial calendar at least two issues in advance.
- Commission, write, and edit content for print, web, social, podcast, and video.
- Promote the brand and represent it at events and in-house functions.
- Collaborate with Publisher/CCO on special projects and supplements.
- Work closely with Art Director on cover selections.
- Ensure editorial quality control, including subbing, proofing, and final edits.
- Manage and motivate editorial staff; oversee training and development.
- Set the tone and maintain quality across all content.
- Identify original, engaging, and SEO-friendly content ideas.
- Monitor content performance with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Parse.ly).
- Curate and publish daily web and social content; optimize for search.
