With an established reputation in the luxury design sector, they combine creativity, technical excellence, and a highly personalised approach to every commission.
They are seeking a Senior Design Architect to join their team in West London. This is an opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Architect to work on high-end and prime residential projects, taking a lead role in shaping concept designs and driving them forward through to Stage 3.
As Senior Design Architect, you’ll play a pivotal part in developing briefs, formulating concept designs, and producing inspirational sketches and 3D visualisations. Acting as the link between the Directors and the delivery team, you’ll oversee early-stage design and planning, ensuring a seamless transition through to project delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading design development across RIBA Stages 0 – 3
- Producing high-quality concept sketches and visualisations
- Collaborating with Directors, in-house specialists, and external consultants
- Supervising planning drawings and coordinating the design team
- Preparing Design & Access Statements and planning submissions
- Liaising with planning and design officers, including pre-submission meetings
- Coordinating the discharge of consent conditions
You will be a Part III qualified, ARB registered Architect with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in UK practice. You’ll bring strong creative flair, exceptional sketching and visualisation skills, and proven experience in delivering luxury residential projects from concept to Stage 3.
Key requirements:
- Extensive experience in high-end residential or hotel design (ÂŁ5m+ contract values)
- Strong hand-drawing and 3D conceptual skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing ability
- Confident in leading a small team and liaising with consultants
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and able to inspire others
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected practice working at the forefront of bespoke luxury architecture. You’ll have the chance to shape significant projects from the outset, collaborate with talented specialists, and work directly with clients who value design excellence.
