The Role

As the team enters its next phase of growth, it is seeking a Geospatial Analysis Lead – a role combining business development, client engagement, project delivery and technical geospatial insight. This is a genuinely rare opportunity for someone who enjoys both people and data, and who wants to influence how digital intelligence supports better placemaking.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading the delivery of geospatial analysis projects, mapping outputs and digital assessments
  • Identifying new business opportunities and converting enquiries into commissions
  • Managing and mentoring junior analysts, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Preparing proposals, presentations and digital content for clients and stakeholders
  • Engaging with public and private sector clients across planning, development and regeneration
  • Working closely with design and master‑planning teams to integrate spatial insights into project strategies
  • Overseeing CRM activity, pipeline reporting and the coordination of marketing material
  • Supporting research, innovation and continuous improvement of digital tools and methods
  • Producing articles, case studies and thought‑leadership pieces for external communication

About You

  • Professional experience in business development, consulting, geospatial analysis or digital planning
  • Strong understanding of spatial data, GIS and digital mapping (e.g., QGIS or similar)
  • Confident communicator able to engage clients, present ideas and lead conversations
  • Interest in urban design, placemaking and digital transformation within the built environment
  • Ability to interpret geospatial datasets, urban network analysis and socio‑economic modelling
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Experience with CAD, Adobe Creative Suite or InDesign beneficial
  • Familiarity with coding (e.g., Python) or digital modelling tools is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel in the UK for meetings and project work

Why This Role?

This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership within a forward‑thinking consultancy combining creativity, urban design knowledge and cutting‑edge geospatial intelligence. You’ll have the platform to influence strategy, shape new services, and help grow a recognised specialist offer within a respected design environment.
