We’re currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our friendly and professional team, based in Walthamstow and North London. This role is easily commutable from a wide range of locations including Wanstead, Stratford, Hackney, Enfield, Barnet, Chelmsford, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in the commercial success of our Highways, Infrastructure, and Civils Maintenance projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring Quantity Surveyors while supporting the Commercial Manager and Managing QS
• Managing commercial projects from pre-contract to completion, ensuring profitability and accurate forecasting
• Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Handling subcontractor tender enquiries, awards, and monthly payment assessments
• Producing monthly CVRs and client/internal forecasts
• Managing final accounts and ensuring compliance with Riney and client processes
• Supporting cash collection and accurate valuation of completed work

What We’re Looking For: To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Essential: A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Surveying
• Essential: Experience with NEC TSC and ICC Term Contracts
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• A process-driven mindset and a collaborative approach

In this role you will be in liaison with stakeholders across the businesses of Riney, Tarmac and CRH. A car / car allowance is available with this role and therefore you must hold a FULL UK car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points - You must be able to travel across the region of work.
