We are currently looking for a Facilities Technician to join our friendly team at Linford Building Product Plant, in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Senior Site Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the day to day activities which will include:

Weighbridge Cover – Computer Literate
Monthly Spill Kit Checks
Face Fit Checks – once trained
First Aider – once trained
Ladder checks – once trained
Worksite inspections, to include reporting of skips and recording on Intelex
Monthly gas and water reading checks
Monthly bander and radio checks
BIB tap weekly checks
Weekly collection of guard check sheets and forklift truck check sheets
Fire Alarm weekly check
