As part of CRH Infrastructure Products, we are leading the water management industry with innovative, sustainable solutions and a safety-first mindset, working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom.
We are looking for an experienced/qualified Mechanical Engineer to join us working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team supporting water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
- Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
- Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
- Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
- Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.
- Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
About You:
- Current Valid Driving License
- City & Guilds Qualified
- Served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship
