We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of major capital projects across our UK & Ireland cement business. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take end-to-end ownership of large, complex projects – from concept and feasibility through to execution and commissioning – working with senior stakeholders across the business and CRH Group. You’ll play a key role in shaping strategic investment projects that support operational excellence, sustainability and decarbonisation across our cement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of major capital projects across all lifecycle stages
  • Manage and influence internal and external stakeholders, including technical, legal, procurement and contractors
  • Define project scope, delivery strategy and investment case approval
  • Ensure effective risk management, governance and reporting
  • Oversee execution, including construction, commissioning and handover
  • Drive projects to deliver against safety, cost, quality and schedule objectives

About You

  • Degree qualified in Engineering (Master’s desirable)
  • Significant experience delivering large-scale capital projects within cement or heavy industry
  • Strong understanding of cement manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments at a senior level
  • Commercially aware with strong skills across project planning, contracts and risk management
  • Highly organised, results-driven and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
