At Tarmac, we have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Development Manager to join our Commercial Packed Team. This is a national role where you’ll play a key part in driving value across our strategic Travis Perkins account. Working closely with the National Key Account Manager, you’ll focus on delivering commercial growth, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting regional strategies across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of national and regional commercial strategies
- Drive branch sales performance across key regions
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to maximise growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the Travis Perkins network
- Support sales forecasting and commercial planning
- Analyse pricing, trends and local market activity
- Produce accurate and timely performance reports
- Manage branch support budgets, ensuring effective cost control
- Support regional and national customer reviews with senior stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and legal requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in sales, negotiation and account management
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret data and market trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational and planning capability
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
Desirable
- Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Sales or Marketing
- NVQ in Key Account Management
- Experience within the construction or building materials sector
