At Tarmac, ‘who you are’ matters.  We want to get to know you.  If you share our values and are proud of a job well done, collaborative in working well with others and ambitious to make things better, then have a read of what we have on offer.     We are currently looking for a Sales and Distribution Coordinator to join our friendly C&H Readymix ‘RMX’ team based at our Costessey site close to Norwich.  This role is easily commutable Norwich, Dereham, Fakenham, Drayton, Taverham, Aylsham, Wymondham, Cringleford, Attleborough, Spixworth, Poringland and the surrounding areas. We are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds, therefore prior technical experience isn’t always necessary for success.  Main ResponsibilitiesAs the Sales and Distribution Coordinator you will have worked in a similar industry providing either internal or external sales and distribution support to your wider team and the Tarmac group. Other responsibilities for this role will include (not exhaustive): Sales and distribution of our Readymix ‘RMX’ product range to our customers Supporting the raising and pricing of quotes that will process to order conversion or query resolutions Work with the team converting enquiries into orders, respond to sales calls and emails Accurately process all order information and respond positively and confidently to our customers' requests, orders, scheduling and planning to ensure timely delivery of orders agreed with our customers optimising cost through effective planning Demonstrate an excellent telephone manner when dealing with customers Prioritise and multitask daily duties Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers Engage with the customer to better understand requirements by developing and demonstrating industry-leading product knowledge which will help you to attain and proactively keep abreast of new trends/products in the market by attending product and vendor training, researching and even self-studyPlease note: Due to the location of the site, you would have to be able to travel to the work location without the use of public transport The Ideal CandidateIt is preferred that the successful candidate for the role of Sales and Distribution Coordinator will be experienced in the following: SAP, CRM and Microsoft IT systems Working collaboratively with the existing team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard Showing a positive attitude, building rapport and positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues Being proactive to learn new skills and achieve your own personal goals, as well as business goalsIn the role of Sales and Distribution Coordinator you will also have: Good interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills Good oral and written communication Numeracy and analytical abilityTraining will be provided for: Products, Procedures and our Computer systemsWhy UsIn addition to the role of Sales and Distribution Coordinator we offer an extensive range of career development opportunities and industry-leading rewards, incentives, and benefits: Bonus scheme  Enhanced holiday entitlement  Contributory pension scheme  Access to the Tarmac Reward website with discounts on retailers, holidays, etc.  Access to our Employee Assistance helpline for free and confidential advice  Access to join our Employee Communities (employee networks) we currently have nine communities inc.
