SAP Solution Architect | Shape the Future of SAP at Tarmac
Mountsorrel, Leicestershire (Hybrid)
Are you an experienced SAP Solution Architect looking for an opportunity to influence a major business transformation and leave a lasting legacy?
At Tarmac, we're investing heavily in the future of our technology landscape through Project Falcon - one of our most significant transformation programmes to date. We're looking for a strategic, forward-thinking SAP Architect to play a pivotal role in defining and delivering the SAP solutions that will help drive our business for years to come.
This is more than an architecture role. It's your opportunity to shape enterprise-wide decisions, influence senior stakeholders, and help build a modern, scalable SAP environment that supports a market-leading organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
As our SAP Solution Architect, you'll be at the heart of Project Falcon, providing architectural leadership across the programme and ensuring SAP solutions are designed with performance, scalability and business value in mind.
You'll:
- Lead the end-to-end SAP solution architecture across a major transformation programme
- Translate complex business requirements into practical, future-ready solutions
- Drive SAP best practice and champion standard functionality over unnecessary customisation
- Guide integration, data migration, testing, cutover and service transition activities
- Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams and delivery partners
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks while maintaining governance standards
- Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, compliant and supportable
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who can balance strategic architecture with hands-on programme delivery.
You'll bring:
- Significant SAP Solution Architecture experience within complex enterprise environments
- Excellent knowledge of SAP integrations, data migration, security and non-functional design
- Experience governing solution standards and reviewing third-party supplier designs
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proven track record of supporting large-scale transformation initiatives
- Experience within manufacturing, logistics or operational environments
- SAP Architecture or related certifications
- Experience delivering SAP change across large, multi-functional organisations
You'll Thrive Here If You Are...
- A strategic thinker with a delivery mindset
- Comfortable challenging the status quo to achieve the best outcomes
- Passionate about building scalable and sustainable solutions
- An influential communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborative, pragmatic and driven by continuous improvement
Why Tarmac?
At Tarmac, you'll join a business that is actively investing in technology, innovation and transformation. You'll work alongside talented colleagues and partners, contribute to a high-profile programme, and play a key role in shaping the future of SAP across the organisation.
If you're ready to architect meaningful change and make a real impact on a transformative programme, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today and help build the future with Tarmac.
