What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide technical advice on the permits and licences required for new and existing operations in collaboration with the Operational, Strategic Planning and Circularity teams.
- Manage and deliver a wide variety of permit and licence applications.
- Identify regulatory changes and guidance that require new permits or affect existing permits and advise the business on required actions to remain compliant.
- Provide expert advice to the business on technical issues relating to permit conditions or associated environmental legislation.
- Build and manage relationships with regulators.
What We Are Looking For:
- Good communication skills.
- Self‑starter.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills.
- A relevant degree in an environmental or science‑related field.
- Practical experience managing permit applications and liaising with the Environment Agency and other regulators.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation including the Environmental Permitting Regulations, guidance, practices and procedures.
- Experience in the minerals, waste or water sector.
