We’re looking for an Electrical Craftsperson to join our 24/7 maintenance team on the Dunbar Cement Plant located near Edinburgh. The role involves working with electrical and process control equipment across the plant in a large-scale continuous process cement manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Prioritise safety at all times, demonstrating a strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards, electrical isolations, permit systems and safe working practices within a heavy industrial environment.
- Respond to electrical breakdowns and carry out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on plant equipment in a safe and timely manner.
- Apply existing knowledge or quickly develop expertise in a wide range of equipment, including instrumentation, PLCs, DCS/SCADA systems, LV.
