We're looking for a Contracts Coordinator to join our busy Contracting team at Tarmac Baggeridge Contracting, Sedgley, Dudley. This is a vital role at the heart of our operation, acting as the central link between suppliers, site teams, plant providers and management teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
No two days are the same. From coordinating material deliveries and managing plant logistics to processing purchase orders and supporting operational planning, you'll be the person that keeps the business connected and moving forward.

What You'll Be Doing
As the operational coordination hub for the business, you will:
- Coordinate plant, vehicle and equipment hire requirements
- Monitor deliveries, shortages and programme changes, keeping site teams informed
- Raise and manage purchase orders within SAP for transport deliveries, plant hire, skips, welfare units
- Process goods received notes (GRNs) and resolve invoice queries
- Coordinate material orders through online systems and suppliers
- Maintain operational records, tonnage reports and production diaries
- Support weekly operational and distribution planning activities
- Manage vehicle servicing, MOTs, breakdowns and maintenance schedules
- Arrange repairs, fuel deliveries and site support requirements
- Handle incoming enquiries and provide administrative support to operational teams
- Support commercial and management teams through accurate reporting and data management
What We're Looking For
Suitable candidates for the role will have:
- Proven experience in an administrative, operations, logistics or coordination role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Resilience to remain calm under pressure and enjoys problem-solving
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Office applications
- Experience of raising purchase orders and processing invoices
- Working experience using SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of Plant hire, construction, highways, road surfacing or industrial operations (advantageous)
- Experience handling Goods Received Notes (preferred)
- Experience dealing with suppliers and subcontractors (advantageous)
