We are currently looking for an experienced Operative at our Ballidon plant in Derbyshire, where you will be helping produce powders and granules for supply into industrial and agricultural markets. The site is easily accessible from Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock, Chesterfield, Alfreton, Ripley, Belper, Little Eaton, Derby, Uttoxeter, Stoke‑on‑Trent, Leek, Macclesfield, and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Being responsible for operating the processing plant
  • Loading lorries via the control room with daily customer requirements
  • Working with lab testing team
  • Carrying out daily safety and quality checks on plant
  • Attending and contributing to monthly safety and operational meetings
  • Operating manual bulk bag machines
  • Maintaining good housekeeping
Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be an Operative who has experience in a similar role and is willing to work a rotating shift pattern. Full training will be provided if required and if you have experience in health and safety while working in an industrial environment and have a forklift licence, this would be beneficial.
