Join our dynamic team where your experience will be valued, and your contribution will make a real impact every day. As an Operative, you’ll play a vital role in our site operations, reporting directly to the Site Manager. You’ll be hands-on across various areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch, and housekeeping — all while maintaining the highest safety standards in line with CRH and SHE protocols. This is a full-time role working on a rotating shift pattern of 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am. Due to the site’s location and shift times, having your own transport is highly recommended.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Achieving daily production targets
- Recording and reporting quality data
- Loading/unloading products from plant and vehicles
- Ensuring accurate and timely dispatch to meet customer expectations
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
What We’re Looking For
The ideal Operative will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment. In addition, experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial to your application:
- Good communication skills and strong numeracy
- A mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift truck
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Previous experience with manual handling
