We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team at Tarmac Wellington Sand and Gravel Quarry in Hereford.
This role is accessible from Worcester, Leominster, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Ledbury, Leominster, Ludlow, Malvern, Craven Arms, Kidderminster, Tenbury Wells, Bewdley, Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye, Cinderford and the surrounding areas. Role Responsibility As Multi Skilled Operative reporting directly to the Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for: All operational activities within a manufacturing environmentMeeting daily production target requirementsSupporting all site KPI's including quality, Health and Safety, site housekeepingSupporting and working alongside our site fitter on basic operator lead maintenanceHousekeeping and delivering excellent site standards.
Working with a team focused on great customer service, especially providinggood qualitymaterial and on-time deliveries to a varied customer baseCarrying out inspections on the plant and carry out housekeeping tasks and basic daily maintenanceEnsuring stocks are replenished andmaintainedto good levelsThe Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate for the role of Multi Skilled Operative will have previous plant operational experience.
You will also: Be flexible and able todemonstrateacan doattitudePossess initiative and be able to think for themselvesHold a full UK driving LicenceBe a team player and an affective communicatorIdeally to have a forklift truck and loading shovel licence (training will be given to the right candidate)Have a good attitude towards Health and Safety and the environmentHard working and willing to learn new skillsTarmac will provide extensive Training for the right person, and on completion the candidate will be eligible for career progression.
