  • Working closely with Land & Natural Resources on estate planning and permissions
  • Developing and maintaining Quarry Development Plans
  • Building, developing and retaining a high‑performing, diverse management team

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be an experienced operational leader with a proven track record in a senior role within aggregates or a closely related heavy materials environment.

You’ll combine strong technical and commercial expertise with the ability to lead, influence and deliver results through others.

You will have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of aggregates operations, raw materials and production processes
  • Proven experience leading through managers, with excellent coaching and delegation skills
  • Commercial acumen, including setting and managing budgets and cost models
  • Strong understanding of sustainability, supply chain efficiency and environmental impact
  • Experience of minerals planning, quarry development, restoration and environmental compliance
  • Confident problem‑solver with robust root cause analysis capability
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at senior internal and external levels

  • Excellent organisational and strategic planning skills

A full UK driving licence is essential as a company car or car allowance is provided with this role.
