Are you an experienced and dynamic Surfacing Supervisor looking for your next position? We are seeking a skilled Surfacing Supervisor to join our surfacing department which covers London boroughs and the private work sector.
Main Responsibilities
- Reporting to the General Manager, you will have previous or current Supervisory experience.
- Proven experience within the civil engineering industry, preferably of works delivery within the highways sector.
- This role reports to the contracts / operations manager.
- Overseeing day to day site operations.
- Site meetings with clients.
- Completing prestart job forms.
- Delivering site briefings and when required toolbox talks.
- Completing site inspections.
- Completing daily record forms and other site paperwork.
- Placing accurate and timely orders of material and plant to ensure efficient productivity while balancing cost values for each scheme.
- Maintaining high standards with clients and contractors.
- Ensuring all sites including operatives, plant, Traffic Management set up adhere with the company’s health and safety policies.
- Completing site observation and near miss reports when required.
