As a key member of the Production team, the Shift Process Operator is responsible for helping deliver the safety, production and financial targets for the Barnstone packing operation. Reporting to the Shift Co-ordinator, the role holder is accountable for the safe, efficient and reliable operation of allocated plant areas, ensuring optimum performance and throughput.
The role involves operating plant equipment, including packing lines, blending systems and forklift trucks, alongside supporting maintenance and continuous improvement activities. The role requires flexibility to undertake additional duties such as first-line maintenance, cleaning and manual handling, ensuring all activities are carried out in line with Tarmac / CRH standards, policies and safe systems of work.

Ensure all work is carried out in line with safe working procedures, risk assessments and STOP processes. Promote and demonstrate strong Health, Safety and Environmental standards. Ensure correct use of PPE at all times.
