Engineering Project Manager - Fixed Term Contract in Newmarket

Were looking for an Engineering Project Manager to manage investment projects that support the supply of Aggregates and Ready-Mix Concrete (RMX). Youll work closely with Operational Management, Finance, Procurement, Estates & Geology, National Accounts, Operational Excellence, contractors and regulators to ensure projects are safe, efficient and deliver long-term value.
Responsibilities
Manage engineering projects, promoting a zero-harm culture and ensuring full compliance with Tarmac HSE policies and all legislative requirements.
Apply strong knowledge of CDM regulations and proactively manage the client/principal contractor relationship.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Support capability development through training, mentoring and coaching to ensure projects are designed for safe, efficient and low-cost operation.
Use project management and engineering expertise to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
Apply value engineering principles and ensure engineering best practice is followed across all project stages.
Drive the implementation of best-practice engineering solutions and ensure compliance with all standards and procedures.
Deliver and manage area and regional action plans to support improved operational performance.
