Join our high-performance production team. Are you an experienced Machine Setter looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a skilled and proactive Machine Setter to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring machinery is set up and operating at peak performance to meet monthly production targets. You will play a vital part in maintaining safety standards and driving equipment efficiency across the site.
Location: This role is based at our site in Swadlincote. Address: Swainspark Industrial Estate, Park Road, Swadlincote DE12 6JT.
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate automated machinery in line with production requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Produce high-quality cementitious products to customer specifications.
- Complete daily machinery checks and maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage machine-specific maintenance schedules and performance reporting.
- Support mobile fitting teams with fault diagnosis and planned maintenance.
- Oversee inventory of critical spares and ensure on-shelf availability.
