We are looking for a talented Bid Writer to join Tarmac, supporting the securement of high-value opportunities across our UK operations. This is a key role within our commercial and business development activity, where your words will directly influence our success. Working as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team, you'll help shape winning submissions that showcase our expertise, innovation and value to customers.
In this role, you'll take ownership of producing high-quality bid and tender submissions that stand out for clarity, consistency and impact. You'll be responsible for:
- Writing and coordinating responses for bids, tenders, PQQs and ITTs, ensuring they are client-focused and compliant
- Working closely with subject matter experts across the business to gather, develop and refine technical input
- Turning detailed operational and technical information into engaging, well-structured and persuasive written responses
