We're currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Road Surfacing Operative to join our Contracting team based at Dolyhir, located in Presteigne close to Hereford in Herefordshire, covering projects across MidWales.
This role is easily accessible fromHay on Wye, Ludlow, Leominster, Llandrindod Wells,Newtownand the surrounding areas

Whatyou'llbe doing
Reporting to the Gang Team Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality road surfacing projects across highways, airfields and local road networks.
As a Multi Skilled Road Surfacing Operative,you'll:
- Operate a range of plant and equipment associated with road surfacing, including pavers, rollers, tractors and chippers
- Work with hot coated materials safely and efficiently
- Lay coated materials to specification and within required tolerances
- Carry out routine plant maintenance and maintain excellent housekeeping standards
- Champion a culture of Zero Harm, behavioural safety and continuous improvement
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance on site
- Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing surfacing team
