About the Role

Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor seeking your next challenge on a major infrastructure project? Whether you're looking to step up into larger-scale work or already have experience in this area, we'd love to hear from you. Tarmac is offering a permanent opportunity to join our team and make a real impact. We're currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our fantastic Highways team, based at our Snodland site, supporting projects across the South East region. You'll play a key role in our commercial team, working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor and building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and client representatives. We also welcome applications from experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyors ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing sub-contracts: issuing tender enquiries, awarding contracts, and assessing monthly payment applications
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly CVRs and forecasts (internal and client-facing)
  • Assisting with final account agreements and substantiations
  • Ensuring compliance with Tarmac's policies and procedures
