We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our busy plant at Ipswich & Higham. You'll oversee a complex operation where safety, people leadership and efficiency are key.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, coach and develop a motivated operational team
  • Ensure safe, compliant and efficient running of plant, railhead and recycling operations
  • Manage budgets, stock control and operational KPIs
  • Oversee planned maintenance and statutory inspections
  • Maintain SOPs, risk assessments and safety systems
  • Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks and support continuous improvement

What we're looking for:

  • Experience managing Asphalt, Aggregates or Ready Mix operations
  • Strong knowledge of H&S, environmental compliance and production processes
  • Confident with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage change, multitask and lead from the front
  • IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
  • Institute of Asphalt Technology membership (desirable)
