We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join our amazing Readymix team based out of Tarmac Agecroft in Salford, near Manchester. This role is easily accessible from Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Ashton-under-Lyne, Warrington, Wigan, St Helens, Chorley and the surrounding areas.

This role will directly manage, engage and develop a predetermined portfolio of Tarmac customer accounts aligned to the commercial strategy. You will also ensure optimum success with direct customer account management. Success is determined by the achievement of profit, revenue and tonnage target requirements in line with all commercial expectations.

We are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds; therefore prior technical experience isn’t always necessary for success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Internal Sales Supervisor, the role of Internal Sales Representative will be responsible for customer management, focusing on managing, developing and being the first point of contact for a portfolio of accounts determined by the commercial management team.
  • Your role will also involve commercial planning ensuring all accounts within your portfolio are managed by the creation of action plans.
