About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our fantastic team at our Hayes site. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the Multi Skilled Operative will work on the day-to-day operations of mobile and fixed plant, along with various site duties.
You will work with the team to deliver the site plan, ensuring that all stocks are maintained and replenished in good time, while keeping housekeeping standards across the site consistently high.
Your responsibilities in this role will include (not exhaustive):
- Operating both fixed and mobile plant on site
- Operating the weighbridge
- Working with other members of the team to ensure customers receive high-quality material and on-time deliveries
- Assisting the Supervisor with achieving daily/weekly production targets
- Following SHE policies and procedures
- Ensuring all plant conforms with safety requirements at all times
- Upholding Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilities
- Carrying out plant inspections, acting on defects and implementing remedial action
- Maximising plant availability
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards around site
