We're looking for a Roadstone Operative to join our team at Tunstead Stone (Quarry), Buxton, one of the UK's largest and most advanced quarrying operations.
What the Role InvolvesAs a Roadstone Operative, you'll play a vital role in keeping our stone operations moving efficiently. You'll operate mobile plant to support road and rail deliveries, ensuring materials are moved, loaded and stockpiled safely and in line with daily sales demand. This is a practical, varied role, where you may also support quarry operations and cleaning activities within stone processing plants when required.
Location: Tunstead Quarry, BuxtonEasily commutable from Buxton, Macclesfield, Stockport, Dronfield, Manchester, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Leek, Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
Hours & Shifts: 42 hours per week
Rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.
