We're looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Ready Mix team in Birtley.
You'll play a key role in processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries and ensuring a safe, efficient and customer-focused transport operation.
- Whatyou'llbe doing
- Receiving and processing Ready Mix concrete orders
- Scheduling deliveries to meet customer requirements
- Providing customers with updates and outstanding service
- Working closely with transport, logistics and production teams
- Coordinating third-party haulage and ensuring compliance standards are met
- Building strong relationships with haulage suppliers and stakeholders
- Supporting medium and long-term planning to meet customer demand
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 7am5pm. Rotational Shift Pattern (7-4pm & 8-5pm)Saturday Mornings Rotational ifrequired
- Whatwe'relooking for
- Experience in customer service, transport, logistics, distribution or route planning
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent or ganisational and problem-solving abilities
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office (SAP and CRM experience desirable)
