We are currently recruiting for a Plant Operative to join the fantastic Readymix RMX team working on one of Europe's largest current infrastructure projects at our Greatworth Tarmac site, which is located close to West Northamptonshire. Safety and operational standards are fundamental aspects of the role with delivery to customer needs and performance improvement being key.
Main Responsibilities
- The Plant Operative will be a key member of our team supporting the plant supervisor with the successful running of one of our sites ensuring that health and safety is a priority.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Plant Operative, not exhaustive:
- Operation of the loading shovel on site
- Take responsibility for your own safety and that of colleagues and business partners
- Maintain site housekeeping to a high standard
- Manage the yard safely controlling vehicle movements
Key Stakeholders you will liaise with in the responsibilities of this role:
- Health & Safety team
- Area Operations teams
- Local on-site teams
- Customers
Due to the nature of the role and our business, full training will be provided. Therefore experience is not essential. The role is a DAYS role where flexibility is key as we also operate nights and weekends to meet our production needs; overtime available.
