You’ll take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the plant, ensuring safe, efficient operations and delivering high‑quality products and service.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Drive a strong safety culture through toolbox talks and risk assessments, implementing SOPs and Safe Systems of Work
  • Manage stock control, operational reporting, and budget performance
  • Coaching and developing a high‑performing team
  • Support commercial teams to deliver excellent customer service
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and change projects
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in asphalt operations and plant management
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and environmental compliance
  • SHE NVQ Level 4/QCF Level 6 and IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications desirable
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Proactive approach to leadership, with the ability to manage change and drive performance and continuous improvement
