You’ll take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the plant, ensuring safe, efficient operations and delivering high‑quality products and service.
Responsibilities- Oversee safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment
- Drive a strong safety culture through toolbox talks and risk assessments, implementing SOPs and Safe Systems of Work
- Manage stock control, operational reporting, and budget performance
- Coaching and developing a high‑performing team
- Support commercial teams to deliver excellent customer service
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and change projects
- Proven experience in asphalt operations and plant management
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and environmental compliance
- SHE NVQ Level 4/QCF Level 6 and IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications desirable
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office
- Proactive approach to leadership, with the ability to manage change and drive performance and continuous improvement
