We are looking for a Warehouse Operative / FLT to join our friendly team based in Buxton.
Main Responsibilities
- Work as part of a shift team; duties split between the warehouse and assisting in production areas when required.
- Involved in the heart of operations: loading/unloading vehicles, taking off three high‑tech fast‑paced automated packing lines, general warehouse duties, and carrying out risk assessments, fault‑finding, reporting, and first‑level maintenance and inspections on the FLT fleet.
- Work as part of a team to meet safety, production, and financial targets for the site.
- All activities are undertaken in accordance with Tarmac’s Safety Management Systems as well as site systems, policies, and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
- FLT Licence or proof of training would be advantageous.
- Safety passport would be advantageous.
- Experience working with safety systems & procedures.
- Experience operating an automated production line would be advantageous.
- Experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
- Experience working within a team.
- Experience operating Linde H70 Fork trucks.
- Health and safety experience.
