Purpose of the Role

This role combines order fulfilment and transport planning responsibilities to ensure accurate order capture, efficient delivery scheduling, and smooth logistics execution. It supports customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance across the supply chain.

  • Receive and input customer orders via phone, email, or digital platforms.
  • Plan and schedule deliveries based on customer orders, vehicle availability, and route efficiency.
  • Coordinate with transport planners, hauliers, and drivers to ensure timely and compliant deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate transport and order data in planning systems or ERP platforms.
  • Generate reports on order volumes, delivery performance, transport KPIs, and exceptions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations (e.g., support documentation for audits and inspections).
  • Support the team as a Fire Warden and First Aider (if required).
  • Experience with planning tools and systems.
  • Understanding of logistics systems and transport planning processes.
  • Experience managing logistics and planning teams.
  • Driver management and legal compliance.
