Are you an experienced Machine Setter looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring machinery is set up and operating at peak performance to meet monthly production targets. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining safety standards and driving equipment efficiency across the site.

Location: Please note this role is based at our site in Swadlincote Address: Swainspark Industrial Estate, Park Road, Swadlincote DE12 6JT

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts – 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate automated machinery in line with production requirements
  • Diagnose and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Produce high-quality cementitious products to customer specifications
  • Complete daily machinery checks and maintain accurate documentation
  • Manage machine-specific maintenance schedules and performance reporting
  • Support mobile fitting teams with fault diagnosis and planned maintenance
  • Oversee inventory of critical spares and ensure on-shelf availability
