The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
We are currently looking for an Operative at our plant in Maltby. As the successful Operative, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety. You will work across different areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch and housekeeping.
Main Responsibilities
- Meeting daily production target requirements
- Reporting data for quality purposes
- Moving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehicles
- Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround
- Driving continuous improvement of performance standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement of plant and production methods
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
The Ideal Candidate
As our ideal Operative, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment. You will also:
- Possess good communication skills and be numerate
- Be a proficient communicator
- Be a strong team player
- Have experience of manual handling
- Hold an FLT licence (desirable)
This role is based at our Maltby plant, which is easily commutable from Rotherham, Doncaster, Worksop, Sheffield, Barnsley, Retford, Gainsborough, Dinnington, and surrounding areas.
